At our July network meeting we looked at the pathways for navigating towards our collective vision of creating ‘Places grounded in justice, where people feel they belong and have what they need to live well.’
Your insights from the April network day shaped an action plan to support progress towards the new vision, which the giving network prioritised at the July network meeting. Actions were categorised into seven themes:
- Capacity Building and Skills Development
- Practical Tools and Resources
- Communication, Advocacy and Influencing
- Impact and Storytelling
- Strategic Alignment and Convening
- Learning and Knowledge Sharing
- Collaboration and Networking.
Some of the actions you want us to prioritise include providing tailored support on how to use and embed the new vision; discussing equity and inclusion; creating a new place based giving report showcasing good practice across the network; developing community storytelling practices; identifying and nurturing new core funders; sharing national and global practices; and highlighting and promoting cross-network initiatives and partnerships.
