Place-based giving is about changing how people work together and making it easy for everyone to get involved. It is not just another way of giving grants locally. Partnerships need to identify how their work contributes to a mission of social change. How is this demonstrated in our governance structures? Or to put it more simply, who makes the decisions?
We’ve seen place-based giving schemes (PBGS) really think through their principles, the way that they are governed, and the way they make decisions. This resource builds on the experience and knowledge from across the London’s Giving network. In the below articles, we have broken down everything that you need to know about giving schemes and good governance.
