This literature review was undertaken as part of the development of the Resource Hub for Place Based Giving.
Over the years we've supported place based giving across the capital, we have explored the approaches, impact and principles about this way of working from different perspectives. Alongside the growing network of practitioners, we involve community members and other stakeholders in our learning and development programmes. One lens we were keen to bring to this work was the academic lens: what does existing literature tell us about place based giving? What evidence is already out there which we can build on, and importantly - where are the gaps? This rapid review was conducted to inform the ongoing development of our work on place based giving, and we're sharing this document with others interested in this space.
